ACTORS’ BIOS
JUDY DEL GIUDICE is thrilled to have had the opportunity to reprise the role of Carol in NORTH OF PROVIDENCE on screen with Mark Belasco after completing a critically acclaimed run of the play the film was adapted from in November of 2002. Some of her other film and TV credits include the recurring role of Judge Elizabeth Masella on “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit”, Cousin Louise on The Sopranos, working on Ben Younger’s “Boiler Room” and co-starring as Dr. Lamb in “All the Wrong Places” which premiered at the Brooklyn Film Festival in 2000. She is a founding member with Mark Belasco of Alter Ego Theater and she was also a member of 4X5 Flash and appeared in their production of STEALING SOULS (bring your camera) directed by Thomas Calabro. In addition to their work on Alter Ego Theater, Judy and Mark have also co-written a new screenplay called TWO BIT PLAYERS. Judy is pleased to be currently studying with George Di Cenzo and is grateful to have found her “Alter Ego”.
MARK BELASCO is proud to bring the role of Bobbie based on Edward Allan Baker’s original play NORTH OF PROVIDENCE to the screen. After working closely with Mr. Baker and director Russell Treyz the November 2002 theatrical run of NORTH OF PROVIDENCE went on to receive outstanding reviews. Fueled by the response Mark vowed to bring it to the screen.
Mark has appeared in numerous independent films his favorite being his 1st THE NORTH END opposite Frank Vincent and friend Matthew Del Negro. He’s appeared numerous times on ALL MY CHILDREN and AS THE WORLD TURNS. On the HBO series THE SOPRANOS James Gandolfini and Mark had a disagreement over his hat, and no he didn’t get “whacked.” Still he’s managed to find time to make his own wine, and ruin a perfectly good boat outside Barneget Light in LBI, NJ with his crew from ‘the boken.’
